Hotel Don Carmelo – Hotel near airport in Managua

The hotel is in a run-down location, which seems normal for Nicaragua. The rooms were a little small but clean. It was good for the price, but there were no towels provided. The pictures didn't quite match the reality of the room.

However, some parts of the town seemed less safe, which was a bit concerning.

The hotel is perfectly located towards bus stops and close to the market, making it convenient for exploring. The rooms were very clean and equipped with AC and a fan, though some may find the interior hallway view less appealing. The dining experience was very nice with a delicious breakfast menu including gallo pinto and eggs. Unfortunately, the location appears a bit run down, as is common in Nicaragua, but offers necessary security measures.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Small rooms but cozy and comfortable, right next to the front desk, and street noise was minimal. The cleanliness was exceptional, and they even provided both AC and a fan for cooling. The English TV was a nice touch.
